Frequently Asked Questions

Patients with a NDIS plan that has “improved daily living/capacity building” included in their plan can use their NDIS funds to pay for our services providing they are self-managed or plan-managed. Unfortunately, we cannot deliver services under NDIA or agency managed plans. 

Yes there will be a charge for travel which is dependent on your location. Please get in touch to discuss further details. 

Some patients may be able to claim a private health insurance rebate from their appointments. The exact amount depends on your level of cover. A receipt will be provided upon payment for you to submit to your fund to claim a benefit. 

If you have a breathing/airway clearance device, inhaler or portable nebuliser please bring these with you to your appointment. Please wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear should you need to do any exercise testing.

The number of visits you will need will depend on the severity and complexity of your condition. An initial comprehensive assessment will guide the required treatment plan and you will be given an estimate of the number of visits that may be required at that time. 

To claim a medicare rebate patients are required to have a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) as well as a referral that can be obtained from your GP. This plan allows patients to claim a medicare rebate on up to 5 allied health sessions per calendar year. Please discuss your eligibility for a CDMP plan with your GP.
